Fitness Program
Our standard exercise program is designed for the physical activity as an Integral Part that we do in our Martial Arts Program. It requires movement of the whole body or of body parts where it specifically targets certain muscles / muscles groups to improve the performance for general and specific purposes.
The program encompasses all of the Health-related fitness components (Aerobic capacity, Muscular strength, Local muscular endurance, Flexibility and Body composition) and the Sport-related fitness components (Power, Agility, Speed, Balance, Coordination).
Anyone, regardless of Gender and Age, will benefit from this special fitness program. The fitness program works on the principal of “Resistance calisthenics”, where the resistance applied comes from gravity acting on the body, and develops your aerobic/anaerobic capacity through training following the FITT (Frequency, Intensity, Time, and Type) Formula.

Basic Elements of Karate and related Martial Arts
As with any sport, you have to understand your body and its mechanics. Each individual, regardless of Genetics and Body Composission, is able to perform body movements, which are most suited for them. All our movements occur through the “Planes of Motion”. To enhance the performance of body movements, special attention is given to the Basic Elements of Karate and related Martial Arts. These are:
- Balance
- Focus
- Timing
- Power
- Speed
Together they will optimise the “output” with a prolonged and consistent training process. As you progress as a Martial Arts student you obtain more experience and knowledge of your body and mind which will help you to develop a better understanding of Martial Arts.
